A leather blazer and a leather coat can both have lapels and buttons, so the label alone is not enough to choose between them. Look at the intended length, front overlap, waist shaping and the clothes worn underneath. Buneri’s new women’s range offers useful comparisons: a black double-breasted blazer, a blue three-button blazer, an ivory button-front coat and a longer cognac coat.
Start with length and coverage
A blazer works as a jacket-length layer, while a coat is designed around greater body coverage. Those are useful starting points, not fixed measurement rules. Ask for the actual back length rather than assuming every blazer ends at the same point on every wearer. The ivory coat has a pointed shirt collar and button front; the cognac coat combines a longer silhouette with lapels. Neither needs to be called a trench coat: a long leather garment does not automatically have trench construction.
Single-breasted and double-breasted fronts fit differently
The blue blazer uses a single row of three buttons. The black blazer has a double-breasted front with a wider overlap and five visible buttons. When comparing samples, fasten them as intended and inspect the chest and waist without pulling the fronts together by force. Check how the lapels lie both open and closed. More overlap changes the appearance and the amount of material at the front, but does not by itself guarantee a warmer garment or a particular fit.
Measure more than the chest
Record shoulder width, sleeve length, chest or bust, waist and finished back length. For a longer coat, include the hip and hem requirements as well. Use one clearly identified reference garment and explain whether you are supplying body dimensions or finished-garment measurements. Test reaching forward and sitting down with the coat closed. A jacket that looks right while standing can still need changes at the upper arm, waist or hip. Layering allowance should be agreed for the actual shirt, knitwear or dress worn beneath it.
Choose color and material as separate decisions
Black, blue, ivory and cognac distinguish the new smooth-leather options, while the tan button-front coat adds a suede alternative. Buneri confirms genuine leather for these designs. The photograph cannot verify a particular animal species, thickness or finish treatment. If two styles are intended to sit together in a retail collection, approve physical color and material samples together rather than matching only screen images. Agree lining and buttons separately; a color name is not a complete production specification.
Prepare a clear brief for a boutique or personal order
Begin with the product link, the intended use and the measurements. Keep the original silhouette and list only the changes you actually need, such as sleeve length, overall length or label placement. For a boutique assortment, a single-breasted and a double-breasted sample can test two different looks without assuming one size block fits both. Confirm the size range only after reviewing how the approved sample fits. Prices, quantities and any special construction are discussed directly with Buneri.
Review the sample before relying on hidden details
Inspect the button positions, lapel shape, pocket openings, lining and hem on your sample. The side and back views are design previews. Record the approved back construction, vents and measurements in writing so your order and customer descriptions follow the agreed specification.
Samples, custom orders & production
Standard custom jackets, vests and bespoke items typically take 7–10 working days to manufacture. Confirm the schedule for your order; delivery time is separate. DDP can be arranged with customs clearance, duties and taxes handled upfront under the agreed quotation.
Send this product name, required quantity, size requirements and destination when you contact Buneri. Sample prices are quoted privately by WhatsApp or email. Agree the leather finish, lining, hardware and measurements before approving a sample; the photograph does not establish leather species, thickness or a hardware brand.
