Suede Trucker vs Bomber Jacket: Fit, Details & Sampling

Home Catalog Suede Trucker vs Bomber Jacket: Fit, Details & Sampling
Tan suede trucker and cognac suede bomber jackets side by side

A suede trucker and a suede bomber can use the same broad material family but give a collection very different shapes. Start with the collar, fastening and hem rather than choosing from the product name alone. This guide compares the actual details in Buneri’s new suede range and gives buyers a practical way to brief a sample.

The quickest way to tell them apart

A trucker usually has a pointed shirt collar, a button front and a straight waistband. Chest flap pockets make the front visually structured. Buneri’s black and tan suede truckers follow that pattern. A bomber generally has a fuller body gathered into its hem, often with ribbed cuffs. The cognac suede bomber adds a ribbed collar; the tan collared bomber instead uses a shirt collar, throat tab and zipped pockets. A collar alone therefore does not decide the category.

Choose the silhouette for the way it will be worn

A straight trucker hem gives a more defined lower edge when worn open over a T-shirt or shirt. A ribbed bomber hem draws the jacket toward the body and changes where the fabric sits. For a casual layered look, compare the green hooded suede bomber with the non-hooded cognac version. Its grey textile hood is a visible design feature, but a photograph does not establish whether a hood can be removed. Ask about construction before adding that claim to a retail listing.

Compare finished measurements, not size labels

Take a jacket that already fits your intended customer and record its chest width, shoulder width, sleeve length and back length. State exactly where each measurement starts and ends. Do not compare a body chest circumference with a jacket’s flat width as if they were the same measurement. For a bomber, also check the hem when relaxed and how it sits when fastened. For a trucker, check movement across the shoulders and whether the button front pulls. Try the sample with the layer it will actually cover.

Specify the material without guessing from a photo

Buneri has confirmed that this range uses genuine leather, including its suede styles. That does not establish an animal species, leather thickness or a particular grade for every design. The suede’s visible nap and color are useful starting points, not a complete material specification. Request a physical swatch or agree the material with your sample. Review color in consistent light, check matching between panels and agree the lining separately. A smooth leather trucker and a suede trucker should not share an inaccurate material description just because their pocket layouts are similar.

Build a sample approval checklist

Select the exact design and color, then list the features to keep: collar shape, fastening, pocket count, cuff style and hem construction. Record any changes as a separate list. Check the sample both open and closed; inspect pocket access, sleeve movement and how the lining sits. For a private-label order, approve the neck label artwork and its placement as well as the jacket itself. Keep the approved measurements and revision notes together so the production brief is clear.

From design preview to sample approval

Use the three-view gallery to compare the silhouette and plan your order. Side and back views are design previews. Confirm the seams, lining, measurements and other construction details on your sample, then keep the approved specification with your order.

Samples, custom orders & production

Standard custom jackets, vests and bespoke items typically take 7–10 working days to manufacture. Confirm the schedule for your order; delivery time is separate. DDP can be arranged with customs clearance, duties and taxes handled upfront under the agreed quotation.

Send this product name, required quantity, size requirements and destination when you contact Buneri. Sample prices are quoted privately by WhatsApp or email. Agree the leather finish, lining, hardware and measurements before approving a sample; the photograph does not establish leather species, thickness or a hardware brand.
